This morning I was reviewing the building permit activity in the Seattle, Washington area (King County) for the 1st quarter of this year and comparing the reports to previous years. I found something worth sharing.
To the right is a copy of the permit stats for the 1st quarter of 2009 & 2010. (click images to enlarge)
Although the new home permit numbers are nowhere near the frenzy of 2005 & 2006 activity, the new home construction numbers are up this year over the same time last year - Way UP!
This is good news for the residential building industry in the Northwest. These reports and others can be created by our customers with the easy to use online tools our website provides. Check it out and research your corner of the industry.
