Utah Home Builders Showing Substantial Increases Over Last Year

Here are the latest numbers on Utah's single family home builders. Left column shows the permits issued in the month of March and the Right column
has the totals for the year-to-date.

Overall, the number of new home permits in the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City) market is up 69% compared to 2009's dismal production of only 990 new homes for the same time period.

This is an encouraging trend we are seeing in most of the Western US markets right now, another indicator that we may have seen the worst of things in 2009.

Go out and make it a great day!
