Spiderman Actor Tobey Maguire Is Flipping His Plantation-Style Home in Brentwood

Actor Tobey Maguire is reportedly flipping a Brentwood home for a profit of nearly $2 million. The plantation-style home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood is on the market for $10.25 million. This price is in contrast to the $8.45 million Maguire paid for the home in 2014.

The 6,320-square-foot home, designed by well-known southern California architect John Byers, is situated on a gated three-quarter acre lot. It features five bedrooms on the first floor and a separate guest suite upstairs. The master bedroom has two fireplaces and a large bathroom with a skylight.

Several interconnected living and dining areas give access to a covered outdoor living room and pool area. A spacious family room near the kitchen boasts a vaulted ceiling with a skylight surrounded by exposed wooden beams.
